Training Christian Leaders for the Church of the 21st Century

The mission of the West Virginia Baptist Convention School of Christian Studies is to bring honor and glory to God by developing quality church leaders, through training that will help them grow in spiritual maturity, biblical knowledge and ministry skills.

The West Virginia Baptist Convention School of Christian Studies is open to all persons. Anyone may take course(s) for their own general improvement. It is not necessary to be a teacher, youth worker or pastor to benefit from a course of study.

2017 Three-Year Cycle of Courses Now Available.

The 2017 only calendar is also available.

Registration for the Hospital Ministry (E-04) One-Day Class is Now Available Online.  This class will be available in two locations: Parchment Valley Conference Center and Romney First Baptist Church.

Both classes will be on Saturday, April 8, 2017.  Registration will be from 8:30 – 9:00 a.m.  Class begins at 9:00 a.m. and will end at 2:15 p.m.  Snacks and lunch will be provided.  Janes Raines will be instructing the Parchment Valley location and David Hulme will be instructing the Romney location.

Fees:
For Credit – $32.00/single, $42.00/couple
Audit – $25.00/single, $35.00/couple

Textbook and shipping fees are additional. The textbook for this course will be Pastoral Care in Hospitals by Neville Kirkwood. Textbook cost: $32.10, shipping cost: $3.12.
